War Against Our Pets
59War of The Worlds
man0man I am getting a sinking feeling that we are teaching our kids to wage war against animals and not help them. That can segway over to the mismanagement of where we live...... earth.
Specially people that live in
the city. Some cat comes an craps in their garden. Sure it pees me off
too but to wage war against the animals as the city counsels do. What
message is that sending to our kids? We should be teaching them to look
after animals at all cost.................. and our planet we live on.
No wonder we have all these ... environmental disasters. The
people / corporations don't care they just want money money money money
money
Case in point:
look at the bad record BP has and had and
that is just one company.....one company. Think of all the others
sneaking around out there and no one doing anything about it.....w0w
After all our leaders lead after the fact don't they hahaha so sad.
I increasingly see people get all bent out of shape just cause some cat is in their yard. The animals have feelings they have love... I mean what is wrong with showing a little love? Right away they have to throw things or shoot at the animals. A dog, if it is large, can be a worry, I will give them that. It can bite someone and cause a bad injury.
With that said why can we not have better rules for the dog owners, better teaching and NO do not blame the poor animal, it is the owners that are to blame. I see far to many people playing, as they do, im sure, in their video games, Mr tough guy so they have to get a so called vicious dog so it makes them feel what? Superior or tough or bad ass. What is with that? Hey and it is always thee same people, hell they even look the part don't they.
There is so, so many things we can be doing for the animals yet we are to preoccupied with our selfish little endeavors....yeah usually making money. Hey have a look at the earth, have a look at the gulf if you don't believe me. We are choking the life right out of it. Why, so a few people can have way, way to much money to do nothing with but lavish themselves with a bunch of physical treasures, so they look important and think they are someone.
Do me a favour and next time an animal comes into your yard....help it, feed it, talk to it, pet it, but don't call the game warden or city pound on it. LOVE IT
So
hey lets start teaching kids from the ground up, to look after our
animals, even if they are not ours and it will spread to the better
management of our home we call earth.

We actually have a cat (Dusty...our "Top Cat") who "adopted" us years ago. Once when he was ill and was xrayed at the vets, a pellet was discovered in him. He had obviously been shot some time ago by those unloving humans to which you referred in your hub. It remains in him today as it was not in an area threatening anything and thereby avoiding the necessity of surgery. Thoughtful hub!

Powerful message Baggz. We might learn something about being compassionate from this lesson. The way we treat each other may be directly related to the way we treat all life on this planet.
